Erivo grew to become the Oscars into the Ozcars with a Louis Vuitton get dressed that nods — in truth, extra like screams and issues — to her function as Elphaba, the famously-green witch. She finished the glance with a wash of forest-green eyeshadow (Kjaer Weis Cream Eyeshadow in Chic, expertly carried out alongside the lashline through make-up artist Joanna Simkin), emerald jewellery and the aforementioned nail trimming, which used to be an adjunct in its personal proper: Erivo’s nails have been bedazzled with crystals. Her thumbs, specifically, have been utterly coated with a mix of clear- and emerald-toned jewels.
